Scott Alan Mason, 38

Memorial services for Scott Alan Mason, age 38, of Clarkesville will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 11:00 AM from the Hillside Memorial Chapel in Clarkesville with Kevin Queen and George Champion officiating.

Mr. Mason passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2008.

Born in Decatur on April 21, 1970, Scott was the son of Al and Carol Smith Mason. He graduated from Western Carolina University and was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity. Scott was the founder and past owner of The Attic restaurant and he currently was a chef at Waters Edge on Lake Burton. Scott was a member of River Point Community Church in Cornelia.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife Jennifer Robertson Mason, daughter Eliya Mason, son Simeon Mason all of Clarkesville, brother Andy Mason of Tampa, Florida, and sister Pam Lane of Wilmington, North Carolina.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to The Well for House of Prayer, P.O. Box 1897, Clarkesville, GA 30523.
