Rosalie Armstrong, 84

Rosalie Armstrong, age 84 of Cumming, Georgia, died peacefully on Sunday, August 31, 2008. Rose was born on November 30, 1923 in DuQuoin, IL to George and Laura Clark. She lived most of her adult life in St. Louis, MO, working as an Administrative Assistant at Washington University. Rose retired to Palm Beach Gardens Florida with her late husband John Armstrong and traveled extensively throughout the world. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Her deep love of music was shared with all.

Rose is survived by her sister Lillian (Ron) Taylor, children: Ronald (Dianne) Haywood, Jan (Steve) Baker, grandchildren: Jennifer, Stacy, Carrie, David, Anne, Stephanie and three great grandchildren.

Rose is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers: Nelson Clark, Benard Clark, sister: Wilma Eilers.

Graveside services will be held at the I. O. O. F. Cemetery, DuQuoin, IL.

The family deeply appreciates the loving care provided by the staff of Cumming, Nursing Center and Crossroads Hospice. Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home in DuQuoin, IL, (618)542-4225.

In lieu of flowers, prayers may be offered in memory of Rose.
