Mason and Ward Funeral Home of Gainesville, Ga. announce the death of Marie B. Matheson, age 86 of Gainesville, Ga.
Mrs. Matheson died August 25, 2008 at the New Horizon North Nursing Home from an extended illness.

Mrs. Matheson is preceded in death by
her husband Virgil Dude Matheson. Mrs. Matheson is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Freddie Mason of Gainesville; Robert Wayne and Jo Mason of Gainesville;and Thomas Gwynn and Ellen Mason of Greensboro N.C.;one daughter
Linda Butler of Gainesville, Ga.; two sisters and a brother-in-law Peggy Ann Billings,of Collinsville, Va.; and Norma and Jim Favaron of Maryville, Tenn.

Services will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday August 27,2008 from the chapel of Mason and
Ward Funeral Home.The family will recevie friends at the funeral home on Tuesday August 26, 2008 from 6 till 8 P.M.
