Lola Mae Kinsey Fields, 81

Lola Mae Kinsey Fields, age 81, of Oakwood, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at Gateway Health and Rehab in Cleveland, Georgia following a period of declining health.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 pm Saturday, January 26, 2008 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial to follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. The Reverend Fulton Boswell will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm Friday, January 25, 2008 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Fields was born in Hall County, Georgia to the late Leonard H. Kinsey and Vallie (Miller) Kinsey. She retired from Gainesville Mill after 43 years of service. She was of the Baptist Faith. She came to know the Lord at camp meeting when she was a young girl. Mrs. Fields was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 35 years, James C. "Jake" Fields; brother, Roy Lee Kinsey; sisters, Elsie Kinsey and Dorothy Kinsey Sutton; nephew, John Sutton.

Mrs. Fields is survived by her nieces and husbands, Hilda and Donny Patton; Wilma and Ray Douglas; and Jan and Ronnie Dixon; nephews, Dennis Kinsey and Raymond and Mary Jane Kinsey; sisters-in-law, Jean Kinsey and Clara (Poppy) Gravitte.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations may be made to Gateway Health and Rehab Activity Department 9201 Westmoreland Road Cleveland, Georgia 30528.
