Price Fessenden of Skyline Dr. Gainesville, Ga. Died November 21, 2007 in Gainesville, Ga… Memorial Services are scheduled for 10 am Wednesday November 28, 2007 at the Grace Episcopal Church in Gainesville. The Rev. Doug Dailey will officiate and the Family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service.
Mr. Fessenden was a Native of Tampa, Fl. And a cradle Episcopalian. He attended St. Andrews Episcopal Church where he was a Boy Scout, acolyte, choir singer and a member of the brotherhood of St. Andrew. During WWII he served as a Radar Specialist in the Army Air Force. Price received his B.A. in philosophy from Emory University, where he was active in SAE fraternity and in the Canterbury Club. He received an M.A. in psychology from West Ga. College.
He taught high school in Atlanta for several years before joining General Motors as Purchasing Agent. In 1988, he retired after thirty-five years of service. In Atlanta , he was active in Toastmasters International, The Lions Club, the Purchasing Management Assoc. And in choral work at the Cathedral of Christ the King. In Gainesville, Price was past president of the Pro Musica Concert Series, Treasurer Of the Music Club, member of Brenau Univ. Learning and Leisure Institute and past member of the Gainesville Choral.
Price was an Active member of Grace church, he Sang in the Choir, the Grace Oratorio Society and was in his forth year of EFM.
He is married to: Carole Branley Fessenden of Gainesville and he enjoyed his five children:
Son & Daughter in law- Price & Linda Fessenden of California Sons – Stephen Fessenden and Gary Fessenden
Son & Daughter in law-David & Donna Fessenden all of Atlanta Daughter & Son in law – Carolyn & Chris Jordan of Canada
10 Grandchildren – India, Adrian, Brandon, Andrew, Joseph, Aislinn, Michael, Aimee' , Anna and Tyler
