Mrs. Amanda Grace Hudson, 86

Little-Davenport Funeral Homes announces funeral services for Mrs. Amanda Grace Hudson, 86, of Jim Hood Road. Mrs. Hudson died Thursday, July 31, 2003 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 2, 2003 at the New Bridge Baptist Church. The Rev. Loyd Martin will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

A life long resident of Hall County, Mrs. Hudson was the daughter of the late Mac and Mamie McDonald Gowder. She worked for Zeeman's Manufacturing for 14 and a half years, Hall County Library for two and a half years and was a poll officer for Hall County for many years. Mrs. Hudson was a member of the New Bridge Baptist Church, where she helped with Vacation Bible School, played piano and sang in the choir. Mrs. Hudson is preceded in death by her husband, Harrison Hudson.

Survivors include her children; Mildred and Nelson LeCroy, Blairsville; Betty Rozell, Birmingham, Alabama; Herman and Dawne Hudson, Brunswick; Jacki and Georgia Siques, Cleveland; grandchildren; Daryll LeCroy, Atlanta; Syd Almeida, Blairsville; Marty Rozell, Birmingham, Ala.; Nikki Garrison, Cleveland; great granddaughter, Olivia Almeida, Blairsville; sisters, Carol Dean Smith and Eulene Thurmond, both of Gainesville; brother, Frederick Gowder, Gainesville and a number of nieces and nephews.
