Mrs. Eva Brandon, 91
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2004, at Cleveland United Methodist Church for Eva J. Thomas Brandon, 91, of Cleveland.
The Rev. Phil Hoyt and the Rev. Leland Bagwell will officiate. Burial will be in Helen Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Brandon died Friday, March 12, 2004, at Manor Care Convalescent Home.
Mrs. Brandon was born and raised in Montgomery County, Ohio. She received a bachelor of science degree in biology from Defiance College. She and her husband, Phil, worked as YMCA executives in Ohio, Texas, and Georgia, retiring in North Georgia in 1974.
She was a member of Cleveland United Methodist Church and P.E.O. Eva loved nature, entertaining, lunch with friends and the Atlanta Braves. In retirement, she crafted her Brandon Beads into colorful necklaces, pins and earrings.
A loving mother, grandmother and aunt, we will remember her as a woman on the go who cared deeply for others.
Memories of her will be cherished by her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Chikami Brandon, Marietta; daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Ken Parker, Hobe Sound, Fla.; grandchildren, Reagan and Michael Brandon, Marietta, Wendy Parker, Sarasota, Fla., Lindsey Parker and Rebecca Parker, both of Hobe Sound, Fla., and Katherine and Paul Tucker, Charlotte, N.C.; and great-grandchild, Brandon J. Tucker, Charlotte, N.C.
