Mrs. Mary Evelyn Brown, age 85, Gainesville, Georgia, passed Monday, December 20,2004 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center/Lanier Park Campus.

Mrs. Brown was a native of White County, Ga., but had lived in Gainesville, Hall County, Georgia most of her life. She was a member of the St. John Baptist Church.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 1pm Thursday, December 23, 2004, at St. John Baptist Church on E.E. Butler Parkway with Minister Michelle Mintz officiating, Interment will be in Alta Vista Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7pm until 8pm Wednesday, December 22, 2004, at the funeral home.

Survivors include; Evelyn Annette WEstbrooks,
Shirley Mize and Linda J. Thorpe; sons John Brown, Carlton Brown, Robert Lee Brown, and Grady Eugene Brown; twenty-five grandchildren, thirty eight great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren and host of other realtives and friends.

Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence of Mr. John Brown, 2204 Autumn Drive, Gainesville, GA at 12 noon of the day of the service for the cortege.
