Falah "Phil" Ferdinand Colaco, 50

Mr. Falah "Phil" Ferdinand Colaco, age 50 of Sautee. Mr. Colaco passed away Saturday, February 18, 2006 in Midland, Texas following a sudden illness. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM, Saturday, February 25, 2006 from the funeral home chapel.

Mr. Colaco was born April 7, 1955 to George and Clarice Phenix Colaco. He graduated from Pierce College with a Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering and from IT University with a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Mr. Colaco spent most of his adult life in Los Angeles, California where he was successful in several businesses including an insurance agency, automobile repair shops and a construction company.

In 1994 he and his wife moved to White County where he owned and operated Blue Ridge Cabin Rental and Blue Ridge Log Home Development Company. Mr. Colaco loved the outdoors and his hobbies included Off roading, sailing speed boating. He was also an accomplished airplane and helicopter pilot.

All of these activities he done while suffering from Polio. Mr. Colaco also had a great passion and love for animals. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Charles Colaco.

Survivors include his Wife, Leslie Colaco, Sautee; Brother, Sal Colaco,Ventura, CA. and 3 nephews.

Flowers will be appreciated or memorial donations may be made in memory of Phil Colaco to either the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals,501 Front St., Norfolk, VA. 23510 or the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 424 E. 92nd St., New York, N.Y.
