Dorothy Louise Strickland, 97

Ms. Dorothy Louise Strickland ,age 97, of Cleveland ,GA died Saturday June 3, 2006 at New Horizons West Healthcare following an extended illness.

Ms. Strickland was born in Hamilton Indiana the daughter of the late Walter E. and
Mary Wooltorton Strickland. She was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Strickland. Ms. Strickland was a retired Interior Decorator and had lived in Cleveland since 1989. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection.

Survivors include her sister in law, June Thomason, Gulf Shores, AL; Special friends, Joan Riley and the Congregation of the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection, Stanley Lawson and Barbara Adams.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday June 7, 2006 at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection. The Rev. John Bolton will officiate. Burial will be in
Forest Hills Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN. at 3 P.M. Wednesday.

The family will receive friends 6-9 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
