George Ray Dorsey, 87

George Ray Dorsey, 87, of Cookeville, TN, formally of Flowery Branch, passed away Monday, February 12, 2007 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11am Thursday, February 15, 2007, in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 14, 2007 from 5-8pm at the funeral home. The Rev. Chuck Nation and Rev. Paul Wade will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Dorsey was a Tool and Dye Maker at Scripto. He served in the United States Army. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Flowery Branch.

Mr. Dorsey was preceded in death by his parents, George Lester Dorsey and Nora Sosbee., his wife, Sylvia Dorsey, Four Brothers, Gene Dorsey, Paul Dorsey, Lloyd Dorsey, and Albert Dorsey, three sisters, Mertie Roper, Arlene Morrison, Hattie Mae Dorsey.
