Alice Carolyn Hancock, 91

Mrs. Alice Carolyn Hancock, age 91, of Ben Hill Drive, Dalton, Georgia formerly of Hall County, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at A.G. Rhodes Nursing Home in Marietta, Georgia following an extended illness.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, July 12, 2007 at Memorial Park Cemetery. The Reverend Gary Wilson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm Thursday, one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Hancock was born in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Edwin Johnson and Ann (Caruthers) Johnson. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and had lived in Hall County most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hancock.

Mrs. Hancock is survived by her sisters, Annette J. Brock, Dalton; and Jo Ann Sutton, Ocala, FL; and a brother, William P. Johnson, Memphis, TN.
