Betty Jewell Cheek Dickerson

Mrs. Betty Jewell Cheek Dickerson, age 73, 144 Poppys Lane, Toccoa passed away Saturday, November 23, 2019 at her home

A daughter of the late Claude N. and Jewell Scott Cheek she was born April 11, 1946 in Stephens County where she lived all of her life. She was a member of Toccoa Creek Baptist Church and loved to be at home spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening and was a dedicated contributor to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.

Survivors are her husband Kirk Dickerson of the home, daughters, Angie Dickerson Owenby of Toccoa and Tina Dickerson of Martin. Grandchildren, Amber Cheek, Alana

Dunson, Julia Thompson and Austin Thompson. Five great-grandchildren. Sisters, Mary Cheek and Estelle Gibson both of Toccoa, A brother and his wife William Henry “Buddy” and Martha Cheek of Toccoa.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon 2 P.M. at the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Rev. Vernon Dorminey officiating

Interment will be in Stephens Memorial Gardens with Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
