Juan O. “Kinky” Millwood, 79 of Pendergrass passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. Millwood was born in Forsyth County to the late James and Callie McKinney Millwood. He lived most of his life in Hall County, a graduate of South Hall High School and a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church. He retired from General Motors after 21 years.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a number of brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Nadine Millwood of Pendergrass; his son and daughter-in-law, David and Lori Millwood of Chestnut Mountain; his daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Tony DiAngelo of Gainesville; grandchildren, Julie Sewell of Hoschton, Callie Reid of Gainesville, Stephanie Bennett of Gainesville, Jeremy Carr of Pendergrass, and Tiffany Roby of Gainesville; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Cannon of Flowery Branch ; sisters-in-law, Annie Mae Millwood of Flowery Branch and Ann Millwood of Braselton. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2018 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Bill Compton, Dr. Joe Vernon, Rev. Charles Jones, and Rev. Greg Millwood will officiate. Interment will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, April 13, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m.
