Lisa Fenn, 54, of Cumming passed away Friday, April 21, 2017. A loving wife, mother, sister, and daughter, she never knew a stranger. Lisa’s gift was loving people and her life touched many. Whether she had known someone for fifteen years or fifteen minutes, she would stand in the aisle at the grocery store for an hour talking, listening, and sharing an encouraging word or thought. She was her children’s biggest cheerleader, always expressing how proud she was of them. She rarely missed an opportunity to cheer them on from the bleachers at a softball game or swim meet when they were younger. Many of her children’s friends knew her endearingly as “Mama Fenn” and were loved by her like they were her own kids. She was her husband’s constant companion and best friend. Ed and Lisa dated for 5 years and then enjoyed 29 years of devoted marriage together. Ed knew from the day he met her that she was his soulmate. Ed admired Lisa’s ability to make friends so quickly and he loved to just watch her talk to people. Ed always said she had the most beautiful smile in the world. They loved getting away to the mountains in the fall, ending the day with a Hallmark movie, and sneaking out to Dairy Queen from time to time to get an ice cream. Lisa found her greatest joys in being a wife, mother, and loyal friend.
