Mrs. Sara Lee Hubbard Bridges, age 84 of Falls Road, Toccoa passed away Monday, February 13, 2017 at Heritage Health Toccoa.
A daughter of the late William Lee and Julia Mae Coats Simpson Hubbard, she was born November 11, 1932 in Greenville, South Carolina having lived most of her life in Pendleton, South Carolina and the last several years in Toccoa. She was retired from LaFrance Mill in Pendleton and was a member of Six and Twenty Baptist Church, Pendleton, South Carolina. She enjoyed flower gardening, crosswords and crafts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Clifton Bridges in 2009.
Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Ann Wilson of Toccoa, Betty and Donald Nelson of Seneca, South Carolina, Shirley and Danny Thomas of Pumpkintown, South Carolina and Mary and Manuel Maldonado of Greer, South Carolina; two sons and daughters-in-law, William Wesley Bridges and wife Kae of Central, South Carolina and Marshall and Charlene Bridges of Pendleton, South Carolina; nine grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Nell Hubbard of Florida; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, February 17, 2017, 2 O’clock PM at Six and Twenty Baptist Church, Pendleton, South Carolina with The Reverend Phil McAllister officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Michael Byrd, Chris Marcus, Jeffrey Bridges, Danny Thomas and Gary Cartee.

Interment will follow in the Six and Twenty Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Sara Hubbard Bridges.
