Judina Knight Hill

Our beloved mother, Ms. Judina Knight Hill, (Judy), age 83 of Gainesville, Ga. passed away peacefully on Friday, August 12, 2016. 

Judy was born January 9, 1933 in Covington, TN to the late Eugene Knight and Myrtle Griffith Kinney Knight Patzsch.  Judy graduated in 1951 from Nichols High School in New Orleans, LA where she enjoyed playing sports.  She married Jack O. Hill, June 20, 1953 and excelled at being a wife, mother, friend and homemaker for 30 years.  After her divorce she worked in Retail Sales in Houston, TX and retired with Foleys, The May Corp., in 2005.  

Judy is preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers, Herbert, Roy and Ralph Kinney.  She is survived by her former spouse, Jack O. Hill and 3 children and spouses; Barry P. Hill, Sr. and Naomi, Brenda K. Hill Burke and Patrick, Denise Hill Kozar Carey and Kevin.  She has 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled for Friday, August 19 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel, 989 Riverside Drive Gainesville, Georgia 30501.  Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 20 at 11:00am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints, 1234 Riverside Drive Gainesville, Georgia 30501.  She will be laid to rest following the service at Memorial Park Cemetery, 2030 Memorial Park Drive Gainesville, Georgia 30501.
