Patsy Fricks

Patsy Butler Fricks, age 65, of Lula, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015 at her residence.

Born on December 22, 1949, in Hall County, she was a daughter of the late Cecil and Christine Sullens Butler.  Mrs. Fricks was a homemaker and attended Lula Assembly of Praise.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She also loved to smile and encourage others, and would place the needs of others before her own.  In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Larry Leon Fricks; infant daughter, Shannon Posten; brother-in-law, Jackie Worley.

Survivors include son, Christopher Shane Posten; sister, Charlotte Ann Worley; both of Lula; grandchildren, Christopher Allen Posten, Lula; Jessica Dehne, Amanda Posten, both of Alto; great-grandchildren, Brayden Zellner, Kason Dehne, Adam Posten, Charlie Posten, niece, Tammy Winkler (Will), Flowery Branch; nephew, Allen Turner, Lula; special loved ones & caretakers, Terri Turner, Tracie Ervin, Kristin & Matt Batchelor, Dustin & Kim Winkler, Ashley & Dustin Bonds, Hannah Turner & Allen Snyder, Michael Sullens, Randall Sullens, Luke Martin, Lyn Moyer, Ryan Hupp, Liliana Resendez, special great-nephew, Skyler Dingler and a host of of other relatives & friends.

Funeral services are 11 am Monday, June 22, 2015 at Lula Assembly of Praise with Rev. Scotty Poole, Rev. Shane Turner and Rev. Wayne Hicks officiating.  Interment will follow in Belton Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Griffin officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm Saturday and Sunday at the funeral home.
