Helen Opal Wilson

Helen Opal Wilson, age 86, of Cumming, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, January 24, 2015.

Helen was the oldest charter member of Cumming Church of God now known as Trinity Worship Center. She is preceded in death by her parents, Enoch and Mary Barrett; brothers, Ed Barrett, Mark Barrett, Lonnie Barrett; sisters, Ellie Kendrick, Evelyn "Bill" Barrett; brother in law, Marvin Wilson; sisters-in-law, V.Z. Barrett, Amy Barrett, and Valeria Wilson.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Tommy "Thompy" Wilson of Cumming; children, Lisa and Robert Street, David Wilson, Nancey and Rob Lowe, Andy and Jennifer Wilson all of Cumming; sisters, Etta Simmons of Cumming, Bonnie Barrett of Cumming; brothers and sisters in law, Reuben and Audrey Wilson of Canton, Vardry Wilson of Hickory Flat, Barbara Wilson of Loganville, John and JoAnn Wilson of FL, James and Cheryl Wilson of TN, Martha and John Marcucci of SC; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.


Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Rodney Allen and Dr. Ken Griffis officiating. The interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., Wednesday 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
