Betty Lou Voyles Lee Stephens

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Betty Lou Voyles Lee Stephens, 74, of Pendergrass, Ga. who passed away Thursday January 2, 2014.

Mrs. Stephens was born in Jackson County, Georgia, a daughter of the late Horace Crawford Voyles and Mrs. Eva Irvin Voyles of Apple Valley Community of Commerce, Ga. Mrs. Stephens was a homemaker, a member of Pond Fork Baptist Church and the Golden Nugget Sunday School Class.

In addition to her father, Mrs. Stephens was preceded in death by her husbands, Alfred Junior Lee and Clarence Stephens, and two brothers, Billy Voyles and Lewis "Buck" Voyles.

Funeral Service will be Sunday January 5, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Pond Fork Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Knight officiating. Mrs. Stephens will lie in state at the church from 1:00 until the funeral hour. Interment will follow in the Pond Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday January 4, 2014 at Evans Funeral Home from 5-8 P.M.

Survivors include her children, Lewis (Diane) Lee, Jefferson, Ga., Missy (Paul) Mashburn, Cumming, Ga., Kenneth (Trang) Lee, Pendergrass, Ga., Joyce (Leroy) Vandiver, Gainesville, Ga., Adam (Jamie) Lee, Gainesville, Ga., Sam (Lisa) Lee, Commerce, Ga., Paul (Denise) Lee, Cornelia, Ga., her mother, Mrs. Eva Irvin Voyles, Commerce, Ga., her brothers and sisters, Bobby Voyles, Mary Lee, Geraldine Brooks, Harold Voyles, Steve Voyles, and Elbert Voyles, 18 grand children, several great grand children and numerous other relatives.
