Ruth Barrett Davidson

Ruth Davidson, age 90 of Cleveland, passed away Friday, May 24, 2013 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Mrs. Davidson was born September 11, 1922 in Cleveland to the late Newt and Leila Powers Barrett. She was a member of Chattahoochee Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband Jack Davidson, son Kerry Davidson, brothers John Barrett, Homer Barrett, Clyde Barrett and sister Bernice Reed.

Survivors include her brother, Loy Barrett; grandson, Lee Davidson; great grandsons, Noah Davidson; Dallas Davidson; nephew, Mitchell Barrett; nieces, Evelyn Baker; Patricia Satterfield; daughter-in-law, Connie Davidson, all of Cleveland; step granddaughter and husband, Claudia and Mark Wilkes, Lula; step great grandchildren, Elijah Mark Wilkes, Emma Grace Wilkes, both of Lula.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 28, 2013 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Farrell Presley and the Rev. Verner London will officiate. Interment will follow at Chattahoochee Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Monday at the funeral home.
