Robert Pierce Kitchens, III (Murphy)

Robert Pierce Kitchens, III (Murphy), age 67 of Clayton, GA passed away due to life long complications from childhood diabetes on March 4, 2013. He was born August 20, 1945 in Tampa, Florida to Robert Pierce Kitchens, Jr. and Peggy Marie Thrower Kitchens. Survivors include his mother, Peggy M. Thrower and his sister, Mint K. Evans in Indiana and his brother, Laurence Thrower Campbell in New York.

After he graduated in 1963 from H.B. Plant High School in Tampa, Florida, he attended Berry College in Mount Berry, Georgia and Piedmont College in Demorest, Georgia. His interests included reading, gardening, photography, bowling and a very strong religious commitment.

Services will be held on Wednesday night, March 6, 2013 at 7:30 pm in Mountain City, Georgia.
