John Wesley Loggins

Funeral services for John Wesley "Buster" Loggins, age 81, of Demorest will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 19, 2012 from Fairfield Baptist Church in Clarkesville. Mr. Loggins will be placed in the church at 1:30 PM until the funeral hour. Rev. Keith Allison, Rev. Dave Fortner, and Rev. Austin Kelley will officiate with interment to follow the service in the Fairfield Baptist Church cemetery.

Mr. Loggins died March 16, 2012.

Born in Gainesville, Georgia on May 7, 1930, Mr. Loggins was the son of the late Glen W. and Nancy Butts Loggins. In addition to being a farmer, Mr. Loggins was once employed by Habersham Metal Products and did security work for Scovill and the Orchard.

Survivors include wife Ethel Virginia Loggins of Demorest, daughter and son-in-law Karen and Johnny Roberts of Demorest, daughter Vickie Davidson of Demorest, daughter Sandra Loggins of Cleveland, and son and daughter-in-law Larry and Gail Loggins of Demorest, GA. Mr. Loggins is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, March 18, 2012 from 2 - 4 PM and from 6 - 8 PM.
