Cynthia Virginia Payne Reaghard

Cynthia Virginia Payne Reaghard, age 64 of Cornelia, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at the Oaks at Scenic View.

Born in Stephens County on June 12, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Thomas June and Pauline Hardy Payne. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. In her spare time, Ms. Reaghard enjoyed gardening, photography, cooking and reading.

Survivors include son and fiancée, Michael Shuler & Carolyn Hardwick of Atlanta; son, Gary Hemrick of Cornelia; brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas & Ann Payne of Cornelia and Bruce & Peggy Payne of Alto; one grandson and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 2:00 pm Saturday, September 17, 2011, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart. Interment will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 pm on Friday.

The family will be at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Umbehant, 635 Holly Circle, Mt. Airy, GA 30563.
