Ivie Funeral Home Commerce announces services for Victoria W. Parr 59 of Commerce who died Saturday May 21, 2011 after a courage battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). Survivors include her husband Lewis Parr of the home, mother Frances Wheless of Commerce, daughters Dee (Tim) Nicholson of Commerce, Melissa (Michael) Patton of Jefferson and Katie Victoria Parr of Commerce. One brother Randy Wheless of Commerce and sister Sally White of Mt. Airy, Ga. She was preceded in death by a sister Phoebie Henderson. 5 Grandchildren also survive.

Graveside services will be Tuesday at 4 PM from the New Salem Methodist Church with Rev. Albert Vaughn and Rev. Paul Youngblood officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home Monday from 5 to 9 PM.
