Mary Lou Chester

Mary Lou Chester, age 62, of Dahlonega, GA, died Wednesday, December 22, 2010, at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.

Ms. Chester was born in Pickens County, GA and had lived in Lumpkin County for the past ten years. She was a former resident of Cumming, GA. She was a homemaker and was a Christian.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her father, Howard Blackwell.

She is survived by her mother, Bernice Cash, Roswell, GA; daughters and son-in-law, Cindy and Mike Coolick, Dahlonega, GA, Tonia Seigler, Dahlonega, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Ron Jr. and Sherea Chester, Talking Rock, GA, Rodney and Tania Chester, Dahlonega, GA; sister, Joyce Porter, Canton, GA; brothers, Charles Blackwell, Dahlonega, GA, Joe and Julia Holcomb, Woodstock, GA; grandchildren, Morgan Coolick, Rusty Cheste, and Kason Seigler. A number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM Monday, December 27, 2010, at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega.

Interment will follow in the Antioch Cemetery in Lumpkin County.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Sunday, December 26, 2010 from 5 PM until 8 PM.
