Burton Josiah Miler, 89

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mr. Burton Josiah Miller, age 89 of Clermont. Mr. Miler passed away Friday, April 9, 2010 at his residence following an extended illness

Funeral arrangements are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 13, 2010 from the chapel of Bookout Funeral Home in Oneonta, New York with the Rev. Keith VanDewerker officiating. Interment will follow in Oneonta plains Cemetery

Mr. Miller was born in Sydney Center, New York on October 6, 1920 to the late Walter D. and Serena Martin Miller. He served with honor in the United States Army during WWII and retired with 40 years service from the D&H Railroad as a Car Inspector

He is survived locally by his daughter and son in law, Betty and Daniel Bohmer of Clermont
