Sara Madlyn Beavers

Sara Madlyn Beavers, 82, of Cumming, GA died on February 18, 2010 at Embracing Hospice House. Born in Ellaville, GA, she was the daughter of the late Abner and Agnes Hambrick.

Sara was a long-time member of Chamblee Memorial Baptist Church in Fort Valley and joined Manley Memorial Baptist Church in Eatonton when she moved to Lake Sinclair to be near her daughter Nell. In recent years, she attended Midway Community Church in Alpharetta with her daughter Judy. Sara retired from Robbins Air Force Base in 1988. She enjoyed working with her hands and serving God. A loving mother and grandmother, she was a fine Christian lady.

She is survived by her daughters Nancy McElmurray of Dahlonega, Nell (John) Bryant of Eatonton, and Judy (Howard) Hobby of Cumming; brother Mitchell (Mellonese) Hambrick of Perry; sisters Frances Bowen of Perry, Marjorie Moore of Unadilla, and Anne Carroll of Perry; grandchildren Lawre Dent, Nicole Teague, Alicia Bond, Hilton Hobby, Amanda Hobby; and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, February 21, 2010 at Midway Community Church with Pastor Dean Ropp officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 â
