Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday January 10, 2010 in Wards Funeral Home Chapel for Hattie E. Thompson, 87, Gainesville. Rev. David Jones officiating. Burial in Springway Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 9th from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Thompson passed away Thursday, January 7, 2010, following an extended illness. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
