Michael R. Pratt

Mr. Michael R. Pratt, age 47, of Point View Circle, Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Sunday, January 04, 2009 at the Shepherd Spinal Center from injuries sustained in an accident.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am Wednesday, January 07, 2009 at the First Church of the Nazarene with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Reverend Bill McCumber and Reverend Don Moore will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 pm Tuesday, January 06, 2009 at the funeral home.

Mr. Pratt was born in Allamakee, Iowa. He was employed with Allied Transportation at the time of his accident. He was a member of the Teamsters Union.

Mr. Pratt is survived by his wife of 28 years, Becky Pratt, Gainesville; parents, Ray and Sharon Pratt, of Iowa; daughter, Wendy Pratt, also of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Terri and Nick Wright, Dawsonville; daughters, Nicole Pratt and Kayla Pratt both of Gainesville; grandsons, Andy and Matthew Veal, Gainesville; granddaughter, Hanna Wright, Dawsonville; sisters, Ellen Brown, Cumming; Jennifer Kelley, Dawsonville; and Teresa Martin, Iowa; and a number of nieces, nephews and other family and friends also survive.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Chattahoochee Bank of Georgia, The Fund to Benefit Mike Pratt, P.O. Box 2397 Gainesville, GA 30503
