A daughter of the late Matthew Kell and Ida Dryman Kell, she was born May 12, 1932 in Rabun County, Georgia having lived most of her life in Toccoa. She enjoyed gardening and working in her flowers, loved reading and embroidery. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dewitt White in 2005 and by eleven siblings.
Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Beth and David Pittman of Toccoa and Cindy Patrick of Habersham County; grandchildren, Steve and Hope Pittman, Carrie and Chad Clark and Taylor Coker; eight great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Graveside services Saturday, February 8, 2025, 11 a.m. at Lakeview Baptist Church Cemetery with The Reverend George Dean officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Blayne Sears, Jerry Kingman, Ronnie Turpin, Terry Adams, Nathan Cross and Brian McDonald.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lakeview Baptist Church, 1975 Anderson Road, Toccoa, Georgia 30577 in memory of Mrs. Carrie “Jean” White.
Interment will follow in the Lakeview Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Carrie “Jean” White.
