Jeannette Reynolds Thomas

Mrs. Jeannette Reynolds Thomas, 81, of Hoschton, passed away Monday, November 4, 2024 at New Horizon’s Lanier Park.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 8, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Clyde Self will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends and family at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Born on July 31, 1943 in Milledgeville, GA, she was the daughter of the late Charles Gordon Reynolds and the late Lottie Jeanette Williams Reynolds.  Mrs. Thomas was retired from Banking where she worked in the Mortgage Lending department.

After retirement Jenny enjoyed weekly card games, making beautiful cards and family and friends craft days. Her other love was gathering with her Quilts of Valor friends making quilts to honor Veterans who served our country.  She also enjoyed working with Hall County Quilt Guild to make quilts for the kids at Eagle Ranch. She was a member of Chicopee Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Thomas.

Mrs. Thomas is survived by her daughter and son in law, Tracey and Rod Wade of Talking Rock, GA; son, Richard Pratt of Norcross; son and daughter in law, Gordon and Tara Pratt of Dahlonega; grandson, Shane Abbott of Marietta; sister, Patsy Bellamy of Winder; nieces and nephews, Alicia and Maggie Bellamy of Winder, Tom and Tonya Bellamy of Hoschton, and other loving family and friends.
