Bernice Louise Hanna

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Bernice Louise Hanna, age 71, of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Sunday August 18, 2024. Mrs. Hanna was born in Monroe, Georgia the daughter of the late Raymond Alvin Mobley and the late Sarah Casper Mobley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Ray Hanna, Sister, Claire Yearwood and two brothers, William and Gary Mobley.

Mrs. Hanna loved to read her bible and listen to gospel music. She enjoyed watching her birdfeeder and talking to people. Mrs. Hanna loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include four daughters, Connie Hanna, Sarah Garner, Karen Anderson and Mary Hanna. Two sons, Tommy Hanna Jr. and Tommy Hanna III. Four brothers, James, Wayne, Ravine and Hugh Mobley. Sister, Marie Phillips. Twenty-one grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday August 23, 2024 at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eric Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at Howington Cemetery, Nicholson, GA. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Evans Funeral Home.
