Angel Parker Carter

Angel Parker Carter, age 29, of Gillsville, GA passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Shari Richey Parker.  Mrs. Carter is survived by her husband, Joseph Carter; children, Sophia Mosley, Riley Carter; father, Ricky (Pamela) Parker of Gillsville; sisters, Paige (Tony Hardy) Parker of Gillsville, Rebekah (Tim) Hull of Gillsville, Elizabeth Smith of Gillsville; brothers, Ricky Parker of Gillsville, Matthew Hewitt of Winter Haven, FL, Michael Smith of Gillsville, Bradon Stephens of Commerce, GA; step-grandparents, Janice and Ken Smith of Scottsboro, AL; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was born on February 14, 1995 in Gainesville, GA.  Mrs. Carter received her education at Jackson County Comprehensive High School.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Mercy Baptist Church in Gainesville.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at Mercy Baptist Church in Gainesville (3796 Tanners Mill Road Gainesville, GA 30507) with a potluck meal to follow afterwards.  The family will receive friends on Friday, April 26, 2024, at Flanigan Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
