Carla Moore Karn

Mrs. Carla Moore Karn, age 64, of Buford GA passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. Carla was born in Knoxville, TN to Carl and Patsy Moore. She graduated with honors from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1981. She was a devoted nurse who worked in labor and delivery for many years.

Carla was married to Ned Karn of Buford for 38 years. She is survived by her husband, Ned Karn, her son, Nathan Karn (April), daughter, Nicole Cohron (Brad), mother, Patsy Moore, brother, Scott Moore, and grandchildren, Caitlyn Karn, Samantha Karn, Abigail Cohron, and James Cohron. She was preceded in death by her father Carl Moore, and brother Steve Moore.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Buford First United Methodist Church in Buford, GA with light refreshments to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
