Scott M. Lowe, 43, of Dawsonville passed away Monday January 10, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a period of declining health.
Born May 23, 1978, Scott was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. He was a graduate of Dawson County High School and always lived life to the fullest. Scott had a contagious laugh and was a genuine friend and inspiration to many. He enjoyed the outdoors, going to concerts, shooting guns and boating. Most of all he loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patsy Lowe and grandparents, Iris and Sanders Lowe, Barbara and Gerald Grabiel.
Surviving are his father, Ed Lowe of Dawsonville; siblings, Sandee (Scott) Gronowski of North Carolina, twin sister, Shelley Buffington of Gainesville, Sonny (Amanda) Lowe of Dawsonville, Beckie “Buffie” Lowe of New York; nieces and nephews, Savannah, Sidney, Jake, Luke, Parker, Maxwell, Mia; aunts, uncles and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held on Friday January 14, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tony Holtzclaw will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday January 13 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Friday from 12 noon until the hour of service.
