Kenneth James Turner

Mr. Kenneth James Turner, 81, of Lula passed away Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Shane Turner and Rev. Scotty Poole will officiate. Interment will follow in White Hall Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Monday, July 5, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on April 9, 1940 in Gainesville, he was the son of the late Clyde and Maudene Wilson Turner. He was a retired poultry farmer and a member of Lula Worship Center. Mr. Turner was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Turner is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Carolyn Campbell Turner.

Mr. Turner is survived by his sons, Rodney Turner of Lula, Stacey Turner (Tonya) of Lula, Rev. Shane Turner (Regina) of Homer; grandchildren, Duston, Samantha, Torey, Cody, Hannah, Kali, Logan, Lillian, Patton and Ashland Turner; 11 great-grandchildren; sister and brother in law, Linda and Grady Saxon of Lula; sister and brother in law, Debbie and Ed Newberry of Gainesville; brother, Dwight Turner of Lula and a number of other loving relatives.
