Milford Julia Wood House

Milford Julia Wood House, age 89, of Gillsville entered heaven Wednesday June 2, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Milford was born January 29, 1932 in Banks County to the late Harbin Alvin & Florence Marie Segars Wood. She was retired from the Northeast Georgia Medical Center Day Care Center and a member of Midway United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Blanton House; son, Sammy House; brother, George Wood; sisters, Gertrelle Wood, Jimmie Cooper, Margaret Kytle, Mary Brownlow & Alma Martin.

Survivors include, son, Ronnie House; daughter, Gloria (Michael) Austin; daughter in law, Karen House; sister, Molly Brown; grandchildren, Robert (Gina) Jimerson, Russell (Crystal) Jimerson, David (Brandy) Rogers & Andy (Brittany) Tench; 9 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild & a host of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday June 4, 2021 at the Ward’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marshall Dale officiating. Burial will follow in the House Family Cemetery in Gillsville. The family will receive friends Friday June 4, 2021 at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until service time.
