Douglas Boyd Pinson

Mr. Douglas Boyd Pinson, age 75, of Gainesville, Ga passed away on Thursday April 01, 2021 at his resdinece folliwng an extneded illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday April 03, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Jeff Morgan will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday April 02, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Douglas was born on April 07, 1945 in Gainesville, Ga to the late Robert Lee Pinson and Fay Etta Hulsey Pinson. He was retired from Leece Neville and was a member of Community Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee and Fay Etta Pinson, wife, Sara Lue Pinson, son, Kenneth James Pinson, brother, Billy Pinson, and sisters, Pauline Griffin, and Betty Barron

Mr. Pinson is survied by his son, Douglas Boyd Pinson, II and his children, Elizabeth, Teresa and Pamela, son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Kelly Pinson, and their children, Collin, Austin, Selena, Sara, and Edward all of Gainesville, sister and brother-in-law, Janice and Leon Riggins, sister and brother-in-law, Bobbie Jean and Gerrold Page all of Gainesville, sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Junior Wetherford of Gainesvillle, and a number of other family members and friends.

Due to Covid-19, the family requests that everyone attending the visitation and service wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
