The Silver Lining Project, in partnership with The Insurance Source, have announced the Golden Years Prom—a special evening dedicated to celebrating and honoring members of the community age 55 and older.
This free event does require a reservation and will take place on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Community Room in downtown Flowery Branch which is located at 5410 Pine Street.
The Golden Years Prom will feature dancing, a live DJ, and refreshments.
Free hair and makeup services will be available from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
“This event is all about giving back to our seniors and showing them how much they mean to our community,” said Ashley Hardgrave, organizer of The Silver Lining Project. “We want to create a magical night where they feel celebrated, valued, and loved.”
The Silver Lining Project and The Insurance Source are seeking volunteers, sponsors and donations for the event.
