Robert "Bob" Eugene Carroll, 73

Memorial Services are scheduled at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28,2006, at Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Robert "Bob" Eugene Carroll, age 73, of Gainesville. The Rev. Bill Hoffman will officiate. The family will receive friends at Ward's Chapel after the service. Mr. Carroll died Wednesday, Oct. 25,2006 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Mr. Carroll was born July 21, 1933 in Wesleyville, PA, and had lived in Gainesville since 1970. He retired in 1993 from Motorola. He was a member of the Bob Russell Sunday School Class, Gainesville Lions Club, and he volunteered with Meals on Wheels.

Mr. Carroll is survived by his wife of 42 years, Ann L. Carroll, Gainesville; son & daughter-inlaw, John & Laura Carroll, Canton,GA; daughters, Lisa Carroll, Athens, GA, Patty Carroll, Atlanta; son, Edward Peters, High Point, N.C.; granddaughters, Ashlyn Carroll & Anna Kate Carroll; and his buddy, Herb.
