Constance Collier Tucker, 78

Mrs. Constance Collier Tucker died September 16, 2025, in Gainesville, Georgia.

Born May 30, 1947, in Walton County, Georgia, to the late Dorothy Wicker Collier and Curtis Harris Collier, Sr., Connie lived a life of love and service. A teacher for 34 years in the Gainesville City School System and the Franklin County School System, Connie positively impacted thousands of young lives. But her true influence extended well beyond the classroom; with her selflessness and grace, she was a life-long teacher in her daily, heartfelt acts of kindness and thoughtful gestures.

In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her son, Jody Tucker, step-mother, Claire Wilson Collier, brother, Benjamin Collier, and mother-in-law, Laura Tucker. Connie is survived by her husband of 59 years, Sam Tucker and daughter, Jennifer Tucker. She is also survived by her sisters and brothers, Carolyn Collier Mundy, Curtis Collier, Jr., Connie Nance Norman, Sam Nance, Mary Collier, Martha Collier Blokzyl, Catherine Collier, Claire Collier Dawson,  their spouses and children, along with many cherished friends.
