Colin Gray, the father of the alleged Apalachee High School shooter, has had his rescheduled trial date set.

According to Barrow County Superior Court records, the trial date originally scheduled for Sept. 8 has been moved to Feb. 9 of next year.

The rescheduled trial date was set on Tuesday.

It was previously reported by AccessWDUN that Colin Gray’s attorneys, Jimmy Berry and Brian Hobbs, both have separate homicide cases in Fulton County.

Berry’s case is scheduled to start the week before the original Sept. 8 trial date and Hobbs’ multi-defendant homicide case starts on Sept. 8. Both Fulton County incidents were indicted in 2022.

Colin Gray is accused of allowing his son Colt Gray access to the weapon that he allegedly used in the Sept. 4, 2024 shooting that took the lives of four people and injured nine others.

The court conferred with counsel for the state, the defense, and Hall County to get the new rescheduled date.
