Farmhouse Coffee’s “Coffee Trailer Competition” announced Chestatee High School as their 2023 winner.

With locations in Cleveland, Demorest, and Gainesville, Farmhouse Coffee launched their second annual “Coffee Trailer Competition” in December 2023. The contest has local schools film a short video for a chance to win a free coffee trailer visit. Chestatee High School was announced as the 2023 winner.

The idea for filming an entry to the contest was brought to the students by Chestatee’s Media Specialist Dana Farr. The video submitted was done through the collaborative work of Chestatee’s audio/video program and their graphic design program.

The “World’s Best Cup of Coffee'' short film was shot by seniors Wyatt Mesurac and Sam Weis. Audio/video teacher Steven McIntyre stars in the lead role portraying Buddy from “Elf.”

On Monday, Jan. 2, 2024, a Farmhouse Coffee trailer paid a visit to Chestatee High School as teachers were welcomed back from winter break.

The full short film can be seen on Chestatee High School’s official Instagram page @chswareagles.
