A body found in Lake Lanier last Tuesday near Old Federal Campground has been identified as a Duluth man.

According to the Hall County's Sheriff's Office, the GBI Crime Lab identified the body as Nermin Rustempasic, 42. Rustempasic owned a boat stored at Sunrise Cove Marina. His body was spotted in the lake by a boater.

The preliminary investigation shows no immediate signs of trauma to the body and no initial evidence of foul play, according to authorities. Autopsy results and a toxicology report are still pending from the crime lab.
