The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has issued an arrest warrant for a Marietta woman in connection to the death of Rosana Delgado.
A murder warrant for Maria Katherine Chavez Encarnacion, 28, was announced Friday morning. A spokesperson for the GBI said in an email statement that Encarnacion's last known location was Mexico.
Encarnacion is not in custody, and any one with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact the GBI at 1-800-597-TIPS(8477), and anyone who sees her is urged to call 911. Tips can also be submitted online.
Encarnacion is now one of seven suspects in the case. Delgado, 37, of Bethlehem, was found dead in Gilmer County in late April.
Three suspects in the case were arrested in May in Mexico. Authorities continue to search for four connected to the case: Juan Ayala-Rodriguez, Mario Alberto Barbosa-Juarez, Carolina Jazmin Rodriguez-Ramirez and Encarnacion.
