Motorists on I-985 southbound can expect delays over the weekend for bridge construction.
According to a release from the Georgia Department of Transportation, a single lane closure will be in place for construction at the bridge over Queen City Parkway/Highway 60.
The construction and lane closure will be in place until Monday, April 16 at 6 a.m., weather permitting.
Motorists are asked to slow down, use caution and look for construction workers in the area. The overall project is expected to be complete by November of this year.
