A December sentencing date has been set for the Dawsonville man convicted a week ago in the murder of Hannah Bender of Lumpkin County.
Austin Stryker was declared guilty on 24 criminal counts in the 2019 murder of 21-year-old Hannah Bender. Her body was found in a shallow grave in Forsyth County in September of that year almost two weeks after her mother reported her missing.
Stryker faces a possible sentence of life in prison.
His hearing is scheduled for December 15 at 1:30 p.m. at the Dawson County Government Center.
