Investigators with the Gainesville Police Department have released photos of a vehicle that may be connected to a random shooting on Shallowford Road Tuesday afternoon.

According to Capt. Kevin Gaddis, the 56-year-old victim was hit in the face when someone fired either a pellet rifle or airsoft pistol from the window of a passing sedan. The man was not seriously injured.

Gaddis said the victim, identified as Willie Daniel Armour, walked to Target and called police from that location.

Gaddis released surveillance photos of the suspect vehicle Thursday morning. He's asking anyone who can help identify the car to call police at 770-534-5254.
