Gwinnett Police have identified the victim killed in a shooting Tuesday morning as a Buford man.

Blake Schulte, 20, was found shot to death inside a car near the Duncan Park neighborhood in Buford early Tuesday morning, shortly after police found Alexander Scott, 16, of Doraville shot and injured in a nearby area.

No arrests had been made as of Wednesday afternoon, according to a news release from Gwinnett Police.

Scott was found around 3 a.m. when a nearby resident called police, reporting the sound of gunshots in the area, which is near the Hall-Gwinnett County line.

Scott was taken to Gwinnett Medical Center for treatment, and his police did not know his condition at last report.

Schulte's body was found just inside the Hall County line around 7 a.m. "about 200-300 yards from the original crime scene area," said Cpl. Michele Pihera in a prior interview with AccessWDUN.

Police are still asking the public for tips in the case, and anyone who as information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (404) 577-TIPS, where a $2,000 reward for information leading to an arrest is on the table.
